Salvage Master
Based at Newhaven, UK

  • This position will report to the Managing Director, Europe.
  • The candidate will have salvage experience in a regional or international environment and preferably hold a UK Class 1 Master’s Certificate or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work long hours in harsh conditions, able to make decisions during stressful situations and have proficient personnel, project management and computer skills. The candidate will often be required to travel worldwide without notice for an unspecified period of time.
  • The Salvage Master is the leader of the salvage team. The Salvage Master is supported by a project manager, logistics coordinators, salvage engineers, naval architects, divers, crane operators, welders, burners etc. The Salvage Master will lead the development a salvage plan and convey the plan’s viability to the clients and regulatory authorities. The Salvage Master will determine manpower and equipment needs for the job and direct the salvage team, tug boats, helicopters, cranes and other third party subcontractors in the execution of the project.

Commercial Director
Based at Newhaven, UK

  • This is a senior group position that will report directly to the Managing Director, Titan Salvage.
  • The candidate should have extensive commercial experience gained within a marine environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of the salvage industry and its salvage and wreck removal contracts is an advantage.
  • The Commercial Director will lead and co-ordinate the commercial activities of Titan Salvage for its worldwide salvage and wreck removal activities.
  • The position involves extensive travel, sometimes at short notice.
