OPEN POSITIONS:
Assistant Salvage Master
- Job: Under supervision, respond to salvage and wreck removal operations worldwide. Supervise highly skilled salvage workers. Help develop salvage plans and convey plans’ viability to the salvage team, clients and regulatory authorities.
Required Experience: Experienced Mate/Master/Engineer/Naval Architect with good knowledge/experience in as many of following areas as possible: tug & barge operations, commercial diving operations, crane/heavy lift operations, ship’s stability, ship’s engineering, cargo operations, ship handling, welding/cutting/fabrication skills, and damage control. Salvage/Wreck Removal experience would be considered a plus. Most importantly must demonstrate prudent judgment, be able to make and stand by decisions arrived at with scanty information, and work and thrive under very high stress situations.
Must be proficient with the following software: Microsoft Office (intermediate to advance level). Proficiency with Microsoft Project is a plus.

Required Education: Unlimited Master’s License and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Transportation/Nautical Science or related field.
- Working Conditions: Must be able to travel without notice for an unspecified period of time anywhere in the world. Must be able to work long hours and in harsh working conditions. Physical fitness and stamina is a plus. Must comply with all work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health.
Divers/Salvors - Freelance
- Undertake the role and responsibilities of Diver, reporting to the Dive Supervisor when employed on field operations.
- Possess HSE Part 1 or equivalent.
- Be prepared to travel to worldwide field operations at short notice and for extended periods of time.
- Work topside as needed for field operations when diving operations are not required, reporting to the Salvage Master.
- Possess and maintain burning and arc welding qualifications.
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations.
Salvors - Freelance
- Possess skill(s) certifications i.e. welding, equipment operator, crane operator, etc. and/or various marine experience.
- Be prepared to travel to worldwide field operations at short notice and for extended periods of time.

Senior Specialist, Salvage & Logistics – Singapore
Based at Titan’s Tuas facility, this position will report to the Commercial Manager, Asia.- The Senior Specialist, Salvage & Logistics, will ideally be a graduate with a degree in marine management and/or marine logistics. Must be well-organized, have good inter-personal skills and a high degree of competence in IT. Must be prepared to travel extensively at short notice.
- Assist the Commercial Manager, Asia, in commercial, operational and logistical functions.
- When deployed to salvage job sites, this position operationally reports to the Project Manager and/or the Salvage Master.
- Coordinate logistical and operational support requirements of salvage and wreck removal projects worldwide, as directed.
- Perform on-site cost and resource tracking for billing purposes when contractually required.
- Order and approve purchases of materials, supplies, and services as directed by the Project Manager or Salvage Master.
- Liaise with Purchasing, Accounting and Human Resources sections as necessary to support field operations, including the review and approval of vendor invoices.
- Support Project Manager and Salvage Master while onsite, including personnel, materials and logistics support.
- Support management staff for project development as required.
- Represent Titan and other Crowley entities as required in SE Asia and other areas.
- Assist to maintain Titan’s 24-hour SEA telephone line.
- Assume other tasks as assigned by the Commercial Manager, Asia, including but not limited to, contract development, insurance requirements, sales & marketing, bid preparation, and project research.
